ok, so my Tiger Barbs are being moved to my 40G tall today. This will leave a lone German Blue Ram in my 10G. It was part of a pair meant for the 40G originally, but one died due to Ich. The remaining one has recovered very well.

Anyway, I've decided to keep the ram there, and convert my blue graveled 10G into an Orinoco River biotope. Now I've looked up species that live in the Orinoco basin, and have come up with 2 logical, feasable choices to accompany my ram. The Rummynose Tetra, and the Green Neon Tetra. both are native to the same river as the ram. Question is...which do you guys think I should choose?

Green neons stay really small...2cm to be specific while rummynoses can get to 2inches. Not a problem either way, though the rummynoses may be crowded. So I'm leaning toward the green neons.

Anyway...just looking for some input, or other suggestions.
click HERE for a list of fish that live in the Orinoco

The site is sweet, you can get lists and small profiles or most every fish, and even list fish my country, OR ecosystem.

I would lean toward the green neons. In addition to the Rummynose (Fireheads) being a bit bigger, they are rather active fish. Mine rarely sit still, constantly on the move. I think a 10 gal may be a bit small for them.
