Are these the Orange and Blue one's you're talking about???... Mine seems to have an affection for each other, and are not aggressive......

Just wondering, what size tank is it? What's the stocking? It is probably Pigeon Blood Discus or a Sunset Discus.

It is very similar to the highest 1 in the pic. Its about 6 inch from top to bottom. And the blue 1 is the same as in the pic. I think it was quite a bit bigger than the other ones. I dnt think its a pigeon blood, more likely to be of the sunset variety.
What are they worth at that size?
Just as a guide as what to ask for it!

Oh and it was in a 240 litre with 5 others, the others are only about 4 inch or so. They was gonna go into a bigger tank but this one is a little bugger.
It wont let me post a pic for some reason!

Couldnt put a value on it without seeing a photo as quality differs greatly between discus. If you only had 2 discus in a tank than anyone with any knowledge of discus would have told you that one was going to end up dead.

Cheers.

If its similar to the ones in the pics than its a Marlboro Red, which is a Pigeon Blood variety.

as i said it was in a group of 6, this particular one picked on all of them not just the one that ended up dead. the blue diamond one was removed to another tank to recover but died. there was not much physically wrong with it apart from a few nips and marks but must of been in shock or traumatized and just never pulled through. the fish is now in one of my tanks which is far from ideal for me or the fish though it seems very happy! i don't want it, i don't really like discus, apart from some of the wild ones, i think their natural colors are much more stunning than any of the tank bred varieties. i guess its gonna end up back at the lfs
lookng at it in my tank now its chasing some of a group of very large tinfoil barbs, so apart from a mental disposition i dont no what is wrong with it!
