Just come back from LFS and if memory serves they stock
Kent aquatica freshwater set with three different bottles "plant gro", "plant ......." "blackwater treatment"
Plant nutrition liquid and solid capsules
Biovert

LFS says that I will only find raving reviews on them but can I trust them :shifty: they supposedly use biovert in their tanks. On the fish front they are normally quite reliable although he said the dracaena (luck bamboo) needed to be kept in high light and I mentioned that it should be kept semi aquatic he agreed but didn't seem forthcoming with mentioning that.

The dracaena I bought are about 25-30cm each with an inch of orange root on them as opposed to my other LFS which have them ranging 12-14cm with a white root system which was shorter. Sound healthy?

Tetramin fertilised substrate was also available should I use this?

well you want a fert which contains Nitrate, phosphate, potassium & trace (NPK & trace elements). if they contain those then they should be good to go :good:
With the substrate, it always helps if you have one, as it acts as a backup and less problems occur.
