Opaline Gournami

Hi,

I have two Opaline Gournamis. I have noticed that their colours have changed in the last week or so. They have gone from Blue with a few dark blue markings to more heavier dark blue markings and less light blue??

Anyone heard of this

I not completely sure bout opaline gouramis, but I know some of my fish have had colour changes when the water wasn't perfect for them.

Some colour changes were slight, but ive also had quite drastic changes once when Id an ammonia boom. my black red tailed shark turned white when this boom happened

Mine seemed to change straight after my last water change. I change water weekly probaly 30%. all stats seem ok as well??

Well, it could indeed be just the usual color changes that fish do when faced with various stresses, but don't forget that Opalines were bred -from- Blue gouramis especially to be a green or blue-green color. As they get older the usually get more green, even sometimes getting to a forest green in older ones!
