Opaline Died....replacement Being Chased.....

Well tonight we lost an opaline.... im not suprised he just look like he gave up in life..... he was not swimming. hugging the heater and doing nothing..... he was found next to it. no signs of issues just dead.

Water was fine no ammonia or nitrites and nitrates 30ppm.

all other fish fine......

We returned to the shop and they just replaced it with no quarral

Our new one is now being bullied i think...... is this normal (2 females) and should i seperate them??? its not all the time but its really regular. She seemed interested when she keeped near the bag while it sat there.

Your original one could be defending it's territory and might take a while to get used to your new one. You could try removing your old one and change the decor slightly, so that she has to re-establish a new territory.

He is defending the whole tank!!!! i have moved a few bits around. i will wait and see how they are tommorow.....
