I was thinking
the other day that it would be cool to put some other fish in with my jack dempseys
. I went to the lfs and saw some pretty big green tigerbarbs and thought the jacks couldn't eat them. My room mate always wants me to get some, so I did.
Went home floated and relased them. After about an hour of watching the tank, tiger barbs swimming and jacks doing what they always do, nothing, I figured everything was
.
When I woke up this morning I came to find 3 tiger barbs were missing.
Not a single corpse. ONE NIGHT 3 FISH!!!
A little sad, I got a net and bagged the remaning 6 and moved them to another tank.
Though I regret loosing my new fish, and the money spent on them.
I really just wish I had seen it.
Now in a comunity tank I hope they won't start nipping fins. If they do it's back with the jacks they go
