Only Starter Posts Option

Hi,
I was on another forum and one thread had about 400 replies and it had the option to just show the thread starter's post.
This made it a whole load easier to read as I didn't have to sift through 350 'great tank' and other comments (which are great and sometimes the conversations between poster's is great but not always)
Maybe there's away to do this already?
Just a thought,
Otherwise this forum is the most user-friendly and best looking forum I've found,

I'm not sure why that's a good thing. If all you see is the original post, how do you know what you're missing out on? I agree that a thread full of "great tank" comments is mind-numbingly tedious, but if you don't scroll through all of that, you don't know what the quality of the conversations between posters is like.
 
However, you do have the facility to preview the first post, first unread post and last post in a thread.
