one week old and doing well on live mosquito larvae

habitat for mosquito larvae     can collect from December - June  mosquito larvae is one of the best live foods.

this fish only  one and a half inch long had 16 large fry to day half inch long.  straight after giving birth eat 30 larvae and will soon get it's appetite back

a few days ago black prince had 14 fry will keeping adults well feed on live foods hope to get another brood soon .
and get them well established.

I tried for 3 years to get some Pike Tops ( Arthur Frisby shop I used to get everything from him now retired , under new management now ) he had some in one of his top tanks just wouldn't sell them , nice to see them again , in Hull its just the common livebearers . I planted that tank up that I was keeping for the Black Prince's & put some Xenotoca Eiseni in it I'll put a vid on tomorrow & went back out and bought another tank for the Black Prince's , just need the warm weather to come now
