So today in shock horror i found a local aquatic shop had 7 CTs 3 in which were almost identical to my Deadly Nightshade and 4 that were multicoloured , Completely blue and white marble like :|

They had lots of funky coloured VTs not like the normal blue and red

7.50 each CT...

My puffer cost £37 i paid more for my CT LOL

I asked him who is your supplier but the only thing he would let slip is that they were from asia, i said ever heard of aquabid but he was like no never:|

my lfs gets them from thailand.

they are cheaper from those places

but dave is cool, and sells them for £2.50

I felt like abit of a doosh bag tbh, since my shops never get decent bettas in so i paid £40 for mine which he was worth until my local imported almost exactly him & decided to sell them for £7.50 :|

Honestly ive never seen such beautiful CTs apart from on AquaBid! I almost bought them all lol but i went there for a fresh water Puffer and came home with one lol

What shop was it?

It was frm Wild woods and i paid £40 for my ct!

isn't that alittle much for a betta?, you can get ones just as nice elsewhere for cheaper.

females near me are £2 and £3 and males are £3.80-£4.50

I saw the other day, a lfs near my school was selling bettas at outrageous prices! They had special imports (mustard gas, black orchid) for $70 each! I kid you not! The most I ever paid for a betta was $9.

Tbh until they got that import of what i consider rare bettas (usually you get red and blue common VTs thats it) he was worth the money until then, I mean hes still lovely but obviously that hit home lol.

On ebay if the bid goes up it means they are obviously worth the money to someone, especially to breeders

Im thinking of buying a few of those bettas and selling them on ebay, just need to find out more on postage and packaging them,

I could easily make £20 on top of them on fleebay as not many people get the chance to buy them from shops

I saw them today Jamie, wasn't overly impressed since I have so many lovely imports but I did think the cello/marble was very cute and almost brought him home but had to resist :D

Why oh why do Wildwoods keep their L number plecs in soft water so I can buy any!

Well your betta is a crowntail doubletail which you would probably never find in a shop. He is gorgeous.
