Im a bit worried that they havent really paired.
The male should have followed the female after she laid the eggs and not get beaten up. As you havent seen the others breeding tube then its a bit worrying.
As Tolak has said it takes several goes for them to get it right and he might just be a bit slow on the uptake. The eggs wouldnt have been fertilised anyway.
Are they the only angels in the tank?. Could you get another male from the shop to see if the female is going to pair with one of them?
She might like a choice

They are the only angels in the tank, and the only fish aside from a few cories. I wouldn't really like to get another male from the store, i'm pretty attached to these guys. I have notcied alot more agression towards each other after the female layed eggs.

Well I think they have decided not tobe a pair anymore, They were getting pretty nippy with eachother so I re-arrangde the decor and so far they aren't attacking eachother but mostly stay on sperate sides of the tank. I hope after time there relationship will mend. Ohh yeah, getting my 55g at the end of the month! I work tomorrow so I will be getting a divider if their in stock. I have also set up a brine shrimp hatchery so I hope live foods will be good on their diet.
