Omg, Fry And More Fry!

My tank (see signature) is turning into fish soup

First is was a 'lucky' pairing of Julidochromis Marlieri and they have spawned twice and have 3 x 1" left from the first lot and several new fry.

Then the pair of Neolamprologus Pulcher turned out to be another 'lucky' pairing so now I have around 50 fry from the weekend.

Now to top it all, 2 of the 4 Neolamprologus Leleupi have produced an unknown amount of fry as they are in a cave but looks to be around 40 odd!

Of course if this had been a community tank it would be just like a buffet but being cichlids and excellent parents most of the fry are quite happy and will probably survive. Actually I am quite surprised at just how calm the tank is with all these fry and parents. Having loads of rock work really helps.

So, if anyone near me is thinking of starting a Tanganyikan set up then get cycling as I'll have loads going in several weeks.....

im in Morecambe, Lancashire, don't think you'd pass here on your ways to the shops!
never mind, would have loved to have taken some of them once they are a bit bigger, bad luck again i suppose!
no doubt people will snap them up when they're ready!

i've hopefully got some bichirs coming from southampton this week but i have to sort out the fish courier to pick them up and bring them here!

Me thinks you lot up north have p/ex'ed all your Wippets and pidgeons for fish as everyone ywho has something interesting going lives up there

how come people down south think theres lots up north and people up north think theres lots down south!!
theres nowt here! well theres bas which isn't as good as it used to be, pier, but never been there, theres a maidenhead aquatics but i think its the smallest one in the world.
you should go on a tour of england dorsey and off load some fish on your way, it will pay for your trip! haha
