Olive Nirite Snails?

Does anybody know anything about the Olive Nerita Snail (or olive nerite snail). Apparently these snails can live in salt, brackish, or freshwater and are awesome algae eaters. The good thing about them is the apparently cannot breed in freshwater, they have to have brackish water for eggs to fertilize. I was just wondering if they are sand dwellers, will they dig through the sand?

No, none of the traded nerites dig. Mostly they crawl about on solid surfaces.
