Old Fish Food

Is it ok to feed fish food that ive had for about 6 months or h as it lost all its nutritional value?

What type of food is it? Like flakes or pellets? or other?
Has it been sealed tightly for 6 months?

Flake food is known to lose it's nutritional value quite quickly.

I have flake food that ive been feeding them and it is in a container with a lid. I also have pellets ,but they refuse to eat them so i dont feed it. My yoyo's eat the flake and algae disks.

I would still use the Flakes and Pellets, but I do not know about the Alge Tablets.
