Old filter media

I stole... I mean acquired some old filter media from my Uncle's freshwater tank. I folded the cartridge in half and shoved it in my own filter. So far the water has gradually gotten clearer from this ever persistent bacteria bloom. Fingers crossed!

Keep an eye on water stats.
Just make sure before taking other peoples filter media that they had no
disease in the tank.
