Old Bettas

Hi!
I’ve had my oldest betta Aztec for about 4 years (I’m assuming he was around a year when purchased) and I was wondering:

How old are your oldest bettas?

I just started buying betta 3 months ago but I’ve seen one in LFS that is 7 years old.

I researched the internet a few months ago, on average 3-5 years I was told, your doing pretty good having one make 4 year old.
