I had a rather bad bacteria bloom, i read some tips on how to get rid of it and i did them
such as gravel vac and also about a 50% water change. Idk how long it takes to get rid of the bloom now that this is done.
Any ideas on how long this will take to go away now?
And any tips to speed it along will help

Depends.Some time hours,normally one day or two. But sometimes weeks or even more.
My thank had a algae bloom that gave me green water.After two weeks fighting it i got rid of the green.But was left with cloudy water. Its not very serious but its still there for almost a week now,and i'm doing 50% water changes every 2 days.
Just keep doing what you are doing eventually it will pass.

It takes as long as it takes- just keep doing 50% water changes, you can't really speed it up.
