i got my self a pair of Kribensis today to attempt to breed them. the male is fully sized but the female is not. the female is rather young however she has been trying to show off to the male already by making her belly red and using her bottom fins to make her belly look bigger along with curving her body at him also to make her belly look bigger. is this breeding behaviour. is she ready to breed if she is doing this the male is not interested but my friends Kribs was like this also and after a few months they paired up and had fry about 4 days ago.
second question to condition them i am going to be using frozen bloodworm. will this do or will i have to use protein pellets also.
thanks for your help

Showing off to eachother and flushing usually indicates bredding behaviour. She's trying to entice him.

Do you have a selection of caves and digging areas for them to use as a spawning area? They usually like a choice of 2 or 3.

Fresh live foods would be better than dried. Dried foods can more often cause bloating in fish. Live bloodworm and Daphnia are good conditioning foods but don't overfeed them.

Frozen is better than dried yes that should be fine. 2 caves is good, they like to go househunting
