Hi all,

Pics up soon (uploading to photobucket taking forever)

I've planted my green machine plants (not amaxingly impressed by the quality given the price, a lot of yellowing) in plant substrate.

I admit, for my first time doing this, it was very difficult to get the plants to stay in the florabase! it was so light and insubstantial, but its done now ;P (though I think I may have to poke them a bit more with tweezers).

My question is: will the plants be OK if I can't turn the filter on for a day or two (waiting for new lid, and spray bar splashes). CO2 will be turned on tomorrow as soon as I pick up a wrench.

Yes.
(waiting for new lid, and spray bar splashes).
Why not just lower it, or raise the water level, so it's rippling instead of splashing?

Not much point turning the co2 on if you've no flow to circulate it... ;)

Either turn them both on, or don't turn either of them on, I reckon.

Just a note..until you're ready to turn everything on, I would leave the lights off.
