I'd stay away from Dwarf Gouramis at the moment, due to the fatal Iridovirus they contract.

Unless you can find some true wild caught dwarf gourami, from an LFS you trust X if such a thing exists!)
Thick lip gouramis are more reliable and easier to keep although grow 3-3.5 inches.....
