Off Topic (Axolotls)

I know this isn't a tropical question but I'm struggling to find an answer. My girlfriend wants an axolotl and I've been looking online for information on them and I'm finding conflicting info about minimum tank sizes.

So far 1 place says a minimum of 45cm long another says 60cm and another says at least 80

So I'm hoping some1 on here knows about this question and any other advice would be great thanks guys

There are a few on here that own them. So hopefully you'll get an answer. There's always confliction information on fish topics IMO. Best to actually stick with advice from someone whose kept them a while.

Just read jenste's post and she said a minimum of a 2 foot tank for one

2 ft for one, and an additional foot for each other, so like 3 need 4ft, etc
