im also on the lookout for some ideas for a empty 30g i have,the nastier the better so suggestions are welcome.im fine with having it as a one fish tank too

Nice fish cane. Hopefully soon I will be posting pics of my fish but the tank stand has to be painted and the tank has to cycle. But I promise to post pics soon.

What size tank are the red bellies in?

the reds are in a 48x18x18 its to small for them now really im thinking about letting them have the 100g when everythings sorted out.and maybe add few a more big reds make it up to 5-6 fish

O I don't have a new tank, well actually I do but it's 5.5 gallons but my parents won't let me get a larger tank so I can't get any oddballs/predatory fish because I'm not allowed to order fish off the internet, my mom has this thing that they will die and she won't listen to me and the lfs's around me don't stock and won't order smaller one's.

how does your mum think the fish get to your lfs?they are delivered in bags and boxes just like they will be to you

Well these are the fish that I want so far:

-teacup stingray
-fire eel
-tyre track eel
-black ghost knife fish
-knife fish
-spotted gar

That's all I want for now but I'm sure the next time I go to the lfs they will have something else that I want like they always do.

sounds like a nice oddball tank,you may have to rehome the gar eventually,they get over 2 feet long.
what knife fish are you putting in with a bgk?

I'm not sure yet, that list is just fish that I would like to get I probably wont get them all. I know that I will have to rehome the gar, but in a couple of years I will be getting a tank around 300 gallons, like yours so I should be able to keep all of the fish.
