I do love it. It's the only tank that I have bought everything for (most of my other tanks were given to me) and watched everything grow up in. I'm really proud.

The dat is around 6" now. I got him when he was a tiny little thing at around 2". He dat goes through phases. Sometimes he'll be a little angel and other times, he'll chase the jurupari or prochilodus around. It's mostly in defense of his "home" under the big piece of wood, I think, so it's never been really bad at all.

Great fish choices, they're all beauty's, but still the plat sen is my favourite
Quality pics too :good:

Beautiful fish. Isn't the ornate a new addition. :shifty:
:ninja:
Nah, I've had him since the end of last November. The prochilodus is actually the newest fish in there (out of the pictures) and the jurupari the oldest (I've had them for over 2 years!). I did get a new Polypterus sp. last week, but I have yet to identify it and it is impossible to photograph nicely.

Thanks, the senegalus is my favorite, too. I love my bichirs to bits.

Superb pic. Looking gr8. Well done.
Thanks Paul. ;)

nice pics
i especially like the tiger it looks better than all mine
Thanks, it means a lot coming from you.

I wasn't even planning on getting a dat for this tank, but one day I happen to see this one at the lfs and he was stable with great colors. I haven't seen any with his coloration or boldness since I got him, unfortunately. :(

Love the Bichirs!! :good: Great pics...can we see one of the whole tank??
When I move to Florida I'm gonna have come check your tanks out in person! :ninja: LOL
