Just got my first 2 papers for my OATO Expert Fishkeeper Award and was wondering if andone has taken the exam?? Was it hard? Theres quite alot of reading to do but all in all looks quite good And i can be one of thoes sad people that have the cetificates framed above the tank hehehehe

Lol no didn;t even no you could take an exam, well done congrats.

Oh good lord I'd meant to do that! I saw that in PFK mag a while back and thought it was an excellent idea. Hopefully would learn a fair bit from it too. Only thing that worries me is wouldn't it be easy to cheat? :/ I know I wouldn't and I'm sure most ppl wouldn't but....well there's always some.
Do let us know how it goes tho.
Hugs,
P.

*shrug* even if someone does cheat, it does mean that they at least learned all the right answers they didn't know already.

Oh I remember reading about this. Do you actualy get the exam paper? Would you be able to give an example of the sort of questions on there? I'm just realy curious. As for cheating, I'm sure most people who do it would and, realy, putting the fact that it's an exam aside, you can look things up in real life as well (I know that's not a steadfast argument BTW) :p I would, personaly, want to see how well I could do on my own though.

Well do the exam st myself up not to cheat. I read all the corse matiral then put it away and sat and did the exam in the kitchen .
Took me about 15-20mins per paper of whitch there are two! sent it off today so hope i pass
