got my first  betta to day he looks lovely when ever u go near the tank he comes to the front of the tank and looks at u he is so cool I will put a pic up tomorrow

I'm REALLY starting to consider this myself.
 
 
Anyone know if a betta would be ok in a 20 gallon tall - low tech, planted tank where I was trying to spawn panda cories?  Would the betta eat all the eggs, eat the fry, or would having the "tall" tank allow for him to stay in the upper levels more and leave the cories alone?

Eagles -- it could work both ways.  The betta might eat all the eggs or he might leave them alone completely.  All just depends on the particular betta.  LOL  I think it is a great idea though.
