I hope he is being advised that having all that depth without much surface area could greatlly reduce the tank's stocking potential, unless he is having supersize wavemakers churning up the water!

Not 100% on this but i believe it is 4 separate tanks, each on top of the other.

His aquarium will actually be made up of four separate tanks, one for each storey of the house.
Each will be made of Perspex-like material and will give the optical illusion of one giant aquarium – but will be cheaper to clean, run and maintain than a single tank.
