Now The Corys Ill

well my apisto seem alot better today but i noticed theres somethink wrong with one of my corys in the other tank is ill. it has a hole on the front of its nose you can see all the pinky flesh behind it and it seems to be getting bigger. it also looks like it has pop eye a little aswell not to much but there bigger than normal. what could it be? im treating the tank with a fungus med because that said it treats like fungus holes and stops infection.

Your 30 gallon tank is overstocked.
What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Has any fish been picking on him.
Any sharp objects in the tank.

I would issolate him and use an internal bacteria med.

ammonia and nitrite are 0
nitrate 5
and ph 6.6
theres alot of wood in the tank he might of caught himself on that?
no fish really the apisto are fine with them theres loads of caves and wood to hide in.
but i had to kill him today i just cut its head because i think thats the nicest way. when i got in from school it had its head on the floor and body in the air spinning is circles and then it layed on its side on the floor breathing rapidly and when i hent to catch it it shot to the top upside down and was spinning round so i thought the nisest thing to do was kill it. by this time most of its head was gone it was just eating away at its head. the front of its head was flat and head been worn way to inline with its eyes i think that why it eyes where sticking out. i think it had got to its brain aswell because so much of its head was missing and i couldnt see its skull just flesh. atleast none of the other fish seem to have it.

Think you did the right thing. The infection could of gone to the brain and cause the spinning.
Spinning can also be a sign the fish is dying.

Water changes on the main tank for a few days. As the bacteria from the fish could of entered the tank.

yh i thought it was aswell i was sure it was going to die so i thought its nicer to kill it than let it sffer if it has got down to its brain aswell.
ive been treating the tank with a fungus med do you think i should finish of the treatment just to make sure the other fish dont get it?
and yh ive done a waterchange today so ill do a few more in the next few days.

Was the med added for the cory.
What's the med called.
