Now I Gotta Do It Right

Pick what up they send heater and filters by the post.
Can even order small plastic tanks online and they get sent out in the post.
So no car involved.

Bigger the better I had an 8 gal.
If you buy a heater for a plastic tank make sure you get the pads for them so there not fixed against the plastic, as it will melt the plastic.

So you only have the fry in the 45 gallon tank.
Big tank only for fry.
So there just laying on the substrate.
No signs of laboured breathing or flicking and rubbing.
Check them over to see if there bloated, skinny, any sores on there bodys, or red streaking in the fins.
Do they look pale or darker in colour.

Look kinda skinny and no they're not in their by themselves lol. There in a net in a 45 us gal. There lieing on the bottom of the plastic tihng. They were born yesterday. 1 looks pale others look wuite dark orange.

If there really skinny they could have internal parasites as they can pass on from there mum.
Do you have any mature fish in the tank that look skinny.
What does it look like when the fish go to the toilet.

Sounds like you have internal parasites i'm afraid camallanous worms.
The only med available is levaimsole through a vet.

Signs of internal parasites are.
Long stringy white poo, clear mucas poo, or red poo.
Red worms prutruding from the anus.
Being skinny or bloated.
Sunken in belly.
Bent spines sometimes.
Get you some info.

Internal parasites do alot of damage to the organs and brain.
Best to the put fish down that are skinny as the parasite has done its damage.
You will need to treat the tank to save the rest.

Camallanus
Info taken from this link.
http://www.fish-disease.net/diseases.htm

Symptoms:

When the fish is stationary, deep red worms can be seen protruding from the anal pore. They are only visible when the fish is still because the worms retreat into the intestine at the fish’s slightest movement. Other signs may include an inflamed and enlarged anus. In severe infestations, the fish may become emaciated and spinal curvature may also occur.

Cause:

The parasitic worms Camallanus Cotti and Camallanus lacustris. These small, livebearing parasitic worms attach to the intestinal walls and rectum with pinchers. The worm’s grip is so tight that any attempts to remove it forcibly will rip away tissue from the intestinal wall. The worm’s pinching causes ischemia (reduced blood flow) to that part of the intestine. In time, the tissue to that part of the intestine will die, at which time the worm will migrate to another part of the intestine. This causes perforations throughout the intestine, which allows other pathogens to gain entry. If the fish is not treated, either the parasite or bacterial will kill the fish. Camallanus infestations occur most often in livebearing fish such as Guppies and Mollies, though infection is possible in all fish. Camallanus infestations are contagious. All fish, including those not yet showing visible symptoms, as well as the aquarium, should be treated.

Treatment:

Treat with Internal Parasite Guard, Pipzine, Disco-Worm, Trichlorfon or Fluke-Tabs as well as a medicated food to prevent a bacterial infection.

Well looks like all my ############# fish will die again. As my dad won't bother and he's getting annoyed with all the ###### diseases! I might as well give up with all these ilnesses! I'm literally throwing my money down the toilet!

I know how you feel kept guppys myself and you can bet on your life they will have internal parasites if the lfs has gotten them in from the wild.
The fish you suspect have internal parasites and showing the signs might be better off ending there misery.
Then just hope the others havent got them.
You can ring the vet and tell him the symtoms he might just perscribe the med for you.
