tested my month old 40b with my new test kit.

I cycled it with some live catfish bait and month old 30 60 hob off my 55g

Still got the bait, a small osar, 5 black skirts, 4 ba Tetras, and a really mean rainbow.

I did a 50% water change 3 days ago, but I had let it go almost two weeks...


I did let the grandson take half the bait to the duck pond and he caught a bass!

I prefer to see fish in the water rather than on a hook out of it.
There are better ways to cycle a tank without live fish.

I'm sure you people over there eat a lot of fish and chips, someone has to catch the food...

My dad calls me "one of those sport fishermen" cause I throw most of mine back.

But when a 9 year old boy proudly catches fish I have no problem skinning them.

Oh I love fish and chips, and cat fish are good eating, Congrats to your grandson for catching it.

I don't eat fish or meat or animal secretions, Theres enough in the world to eat without killing something. But that's just my opinion.

I'm glad that you are proud of your grandson and glad that you are one of those people who chuck back the fish
