So where are you getting CO2 from and are you gonna use a pH probe to monitor the effluent pH?

Got a pH controler off fle-bay, got to wait for it to come then I'm up and running. shouldn't be long. Just building a plinth in the cuboard for it now.

Have been watching you exploits since starting my SW research and have always been well impressed with your setups going from strength to strength.
Any chance you could post a bit more info about your hood design as I'll be constructing something similar and it would be useful to know where you got the bits, how it's setup and what problems you've ran into with it if any.

Updates updates....

Well the Skimmer is starting to pull loads of crap out the tank now with the addition of some mesh to thew impellor and a air pump to the venturi. the Regals got Fat! well fat! My two neon gobys are MIA aswell as the Sun spot goby. the tangs are behaiving themselves ATM. Feeding them all on the New Era food corse and they all loving it. Was taking to Ski about a new fish for the tank might be going with a lepord Wrasse. The Ca reactor is waiting a new pump as the old one in knakkered! And so still dosing the tank with CaCl2 and NaHCO2 @ 120ml a day!!!!!!! with 9.6ml of Mg a day. (my tanks eating it!) What else? I had the first club meeting @ mine on thr just gone when fine. Tim (aka raynot01) came round for a frag and saw the tank. The new purple trumpets are dividing already. And these a WC ready to be done tonight. right some pics I think.

FTS as of 10 mins ago.

And beliveit or not got the go ahead for a new tank!!!!!

Right got the Calcium reactor in and working. Also made a second chamber to help reduct the risk of crasing the pH.

Cut some Acrylic to hold the chamber with holes in the top for mounting.

Old Brine Shrimp hachery with some corse spong in the bottom.

Filed with Rowa W and mounted on the side.

Zip tied onto the return pipework and onto the backing b/c the weight pulled it off.
