it will improve plant growth which will minimize the amount of ammonia the plants will be releasing, therefore minimizing algae growth. the water changes help to dilute the ammonia and remove algae apores.

the plant look like bacopa monierii or ludwigia repens "green"

I think it's bacopa monieri. I have ludwigia repens as well and they don't look the same.

I hope my diffuser comes soon... they said it would be here in 3-4 days like 4 days ago. I wasn't even charged for it. Maybe they confused it with my drop checker which I received not too long before that...
