Not An Urgent One

I was advised endlers and galaxies as they stay really small, 2cm adult size. They are technically compatible, but the endlers completely outcompeted the galaxies for food, so I won't be getting any more of them.

How are the fish doing now.

Hi Wilder, thanks for checking back :) I haven't had a headcount this morning, but they were all there last night and I've seen the shrimp this morning. So no deaths since wednesday :) Ammonia was 0 this morning too, although I'd already done a water change. If the filter hasn't completely died, that would be wonderful! I'm not fully redosing the meds with each water change as it said to add them only every 3-4 days.

Ok.
Let me know how you get on.
Good Luck.

I think the shrimp's gone :( Haven't seen it since yesterday morning and just found a white shell. All 6 endlers are still OK though and there are only small traces of ammonia, so maybe 1 waterchange a day will be enough.

Don't know anything about shrimp.
You need to find him if he died.

Have emptied the tank and hoovered up all the debris. Didn't find the shrimp, so maybe the endlers ate him. Anyway, it's all clean, have added a small dose of the meds and see how it goes. They're all looking perky enough.

Ok. That sounds good.

Have had no ammonia reading since sunday and I've been feeding them like normal, so maybe the filter isn't completely dead. No more fish lost either :good:

That good news then.
Glad everything back to normal.
Good Luck.
