Not A Rokeil! Close

Hey guys,

as u might have known i was going to get a rokeil, well, the didnt have any in stock , i asked the guy(manager) hes says they only carry greens,golds,and reds, because there too hard to find,
Bo beleive me i was pree mad, so i went to the fish isle and walked around and seen this little 2"er so i decided he'll get around 8" if he gets too big for my tank ill hand him to my friend that loves sevs, but oddly this little guy is a green ( thats not odd) but hes got a ton of spots and pretty pale, got horizontal stripes on his forehead,,, i dont know if this is normal for a young green to have these, what do you guys think?

Its not usual. However, it is not abnormal either. THere are so many different colour variants of severum, as they come from a huge geographical range.

Sounds like Heros Notatus http/www.aqua-fish.net/show.php?h=herosnotatus They get pretty big, but as with all Sevs slow down once they reach the 6" mark.

Yup ill deffo get pics, You can only really see the bands on his head when hes stressed and hes pree much black,He's deffo got character too, hes already begging, even when he was in the bag lol, i decided to name him "Charlie" Now i just need to find the SD card for the camera

Very nice he already has some good color. It's just a green severum. Nothing wrong with that I think the greens are so pretty. if it has spots then it is most likely a male my male has always had spots even at 1.5" .

If he eats well, which he probably will, he will pack on the weight for a while. Should double his weight in a month or so, and again in the 5-6 weeks following that.

He looks very nice. Lots of colour for such a little one !

ok great! ^^ everytime my friends come over they look at my sev and call him fat! lol, i think he's a decent size, right now lol, He has took a liking to my live plants are getting chewn fast lol, What kind of fresh veggies do they like?
