I started fishless cycling a 30 gallon about 6 weeks. The cycle is done so I decided to add 5 females. I already had 2 in seperate bowls because I bought them before I knew all the rules
Anyway out of all 5 girls, the only 2 that are having problems so far are the two that I already had. They followed eachother around, not chasing, just flaring and following. Then after about 10 minutes of this they started fighting. I'm pretty sure both are females as they both had got the egg spot and became very eggy. I took the blue female out after fins were ripped.
Was this the right move or should I have let them sorted it out themselves? Here's a video of them following:
