toothpaste is usually great for removing scratches, it's a mild abrasive so takes off the first layer of whatever it's made from thus evening out the surface and leaving no scratches.

works a treat on scratched CD's believe it or not!
 
ok sounds good. What would you suggest i get of the 3 you said? They are hust hairline scratches on the outside.
 
Autosol proberly the best, its easy to get hold of and its great for cleaning jewlery to get bonus points for the next expensive fish you want :hyper:

just put a bit on a cloth rub gently then buff off with a duster, as i said practice on a bit of plastic first or the back of the tank
