Noob Aquarium Question

Hi!

I'd just like to ask how do you determine the number of gallons your tank is? 'Cause I just base buying tanks on how I see them, not knowing the'r gallon capacity. Is there any mathematical formula or something?

Much easier to go to google. Type dimensions in like this:

24inches x 12inches x 12inches in US gallons

and volia, your capacity in US gallons. Also works with litres, UK gallons and cm.
