No More Yellow

Due to having large bits of bogwood, the tank was Mega orange.

Bought some Bio Zorb yest from LPs and a few hours later it was crystal clear

Managed to get a quick snap of tank now. Once i get batterys for cam will upload more

Looks fantastic! I've recently added a lot of new bogwood and it's turned my tank pretty brown. And this is despite lots of boiling and two days soaking it all.

What's Bio Zorb?

Its called Bio Chem Zorb. Its a blend of resin and carbon filteration media.

It removes Organic waste.

Removes toxic heavy metals.

Removes aquarium pollutants such as toxic gases, water discolouration, foul odours

And Phenols (what ever that is lol)

Dosent regular filter carbon take it out of the water? Very Nice tank though!!!!!!! I would have left the coloring in there though as it make's it look more homely.

I had regular carbon in filter and took it out, Never made any difference to colour.

I like a yellow tinge to it. But it got so bad i could hardly see the fish

Plus got a bad back and all the water changes were killing me

Yes carbon will remove Tannins, but eventually it gets "full" and will need replaced. Going from Zoe's tank id say there wasnt enough carbon to cope with the wood and the amount of tannin leaching. The stuff she has used has made an obvious and massive improvement.

Tanks packed to the max .

See my plan is when fish get bigger will say to hubby look we def need a bigger tank.

WILL DEF BE GETTING A BIGGER TANK In future. Will have to wait a bit as just bought this one brand new about a month ago, dont wanna push my luck
