No Algae During Fishless Cycle Question?

I haven't seen a trace of algae during this fishless cycle. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Going into the third week. Hoping to get the rest of the stuff I need for the tank this week then fish within the next two weeks or so.

Not a bad thing at all, it varies on lighting levels, if you have live plants and what additives you have used etc...  As long as you are following the guide on this site and you are getting the correct numbers of Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate then you should be well on your way.  I assume you are getting ammonia levels dropping now and your nitrite levels are rising?
