Can anyone help ? My pump died on me today after racing around for a new one i coudnt findanywhere open so late now my fish and shrimps are dying is there anything i can do ??

Can you position your filter so that the water outflow is rippling the surface of the water? This should allow more oxygen to get in through the surface. Or, if you can, position it so that the water outflow comes out of the water and then hits it (so it kind of 'splashes' through the water's surface). It may make the current stronger but it will put bubbles in the water.

You might be able to swish the water around with your hand for a bit. And bring the filter up higher if its a HOB or something.

The something didnt help lol. Here are my ideas-

I you have a HOB filter raise it so the water has a longer way to reach the surface of the tank and will help get more oxygen

Swish the water around with your hand or net every 20 mins or so.

Brill never thought of that .... its a 60l nano tank i think

you can remove some of the water until the filter is making the splash.. it'll put add bubbles into the water.
