Two weeks into my fishless cycle and after no movement I see an increase in nitrites to 1.0 ppm. Ammonia looks about the same at 4.0 ppm. What should I be looking for next? Will the ammonia start to drop?

your nitrites should go crazy whiklst the ammonia goes down , then redose the ammonia to keep everything going , keep a close eye on your pH as well , mine crashed the other day and stopped everything -- dead , its going again now , at what seems to be a crazy ammonia removal rate :hyper:

You will see the ammonia start to move now. Don't forget that 1 ppm of ammonia becomes 2.7 ppm of nitrite so a 1 ppm move in the nitrite end may well be hard to detect on the other end.
