Nimbochromis Venustus

No replies? Maybe you will reply when you hear i spent £50 on a 6 inch male...

no way.my lfs has a breeding pair for £25.thats a lot of money.my livingstoni at 5 iches were £20 each and i thought that was too much.where did you buy it from????

5 inch Venustus at my LFS are £8-£10.

thats what i mean.£25 for a breeding pair with a male about 6 inches and a female about 8 inches isnt too bad then.£50 for one :/

Yea you were ripped there!! But i have been ripped off in the past, i paid £80 for my Venustus pair then found out i could have got a slightly smaller pair for less than half! They are very nice fish, iv had and kept alot of malawis and they are my favourite, for £80 i hope he is your favourite (hope its a male for £80 or thats even worse!!) I think this shop should be named and shamed who was it??

I paid £50 not £80. It is a male and he is the centre piece to our tank. Hes a beauty! I dont mind that i paid well over the odds, it was a gift to my boyfriend for passing his driving test. I wont name the shop because i normally get discounts etc and i cheekily asked for a free bag of gravel coz the fish was so expensive!

Sorry i ment £50!
Nice one should post a pic! If you want to know anything about how to keep it etc visit the cichlidforum.com look under profiles Malawi - Haplochromis - Nimbochromis Venustus. I sound like a right fish geek now
