A bit early for this but...

I can't believe my Browns traded Myles Garrett even though they got a lot. There is a hitch to the third round pick. If the Rams trade Garrett to an AFC North team the pick becomes a first round. Hmmm, Wonder if that third round condition would still count if Garret were to be traded back to Cleveland...

I don' know. With the addition of Jered Verse at linebacker they still have 4 players that can pressure the QB and get sacks.

So do I like losing Garrett? Of course not but some things need consideration. Ya, he is a beast but how much longer? This would be his tenth season and, for an edge rusher, he is getting older. Without Garret other players will get more sacks and pressures. Still don't like it but sort of understand the idea as they got a LOT in return.

I wonder if there's a fan for every NFL team among the members of this forum. I personally am a Seattle Seahawks fan. And, lest you think I'm a bandwagoner, I've been a fan since the '90s and predicted a 14 win season last year.

Had a thought about the Hall of Fame preseason game. To have everything equal all teams should have the same number of preseason games but the Hall of Fame teams get four while all others get three. This gives the Hall of Fame teams an extra game to look at players. Does this give an unfair advantage?

Solution: Have the Hall of Fame game played between the worst two teams in the NFC and AFC from the previous season. Hey, they NEED the extra game.

There are several NFL fans on this forum. I am rooting for the Patriots. They were an awesome team last year and will be an even better team this year. Drake Maye is still learning but is a very talented QB already even though quite young.
I'm looking forward to watching all the Patriots' games this year.

First preseason games this week. I would think most fans have been following training camp and already have well developed opinions. The football forums are certainly active. I guess I'll just have to check back after Seattle defeats the Patriots again in week one.

Based on the 2025 thread about the NFL, there were maybe 6 members who posted during the season and maybe 3 very active ones. If you want a more active discussion during the season, it's best to look elsewhere.

Like I said, that's not surprising. Nevertheless, the few responses I did see suggested otherwise. It's refreshing to get a straight answer.
