Should the NFL do away with the Hall Of Fame Game? I actually like the game as it is a break from baseball and football is officially started even if just preseason.

My question is if it is an unfair advantage toward the 2 teams in the game as it gives them 4 preseason games to prep while the other 30 teams only have 3 preseason games.

Not that it really matters but my Browns won all three preseason games... Still it is better to win than lose even in the preseason.

Cleveland has a bit of a problem though that could be a good problem. Right now they have five quarterbacks. Especially with Flacco being named the game one starter, they pretty much need to keep four quarterbacks. Of course what I think may not be what the coaches think but a lot of annalists agree. My thought is that I doubt that Flacco will last far into the season; he should have retired at least two years ago although he DID take Cleveland to the playoffs two years ago. Still, in that year, it was more that the defense, rather than Flacco, took them to the playoffs. I just think that he is too old at forty to not end up hurt. Ya, Brady retired at forty-five but, at forty-five, he had a better body and much better mobility than Flacco at forty

I doubt it in terms of unfair advantage, because I am pretty sure most HC and GMs were the ones happy to shorten pre season from 4 games to 3 games in the first place. That's what I remember from the talk at the time. You could argue that the two teams involved in the hall of fame game are at an increased risk of injuries.

Not often I pull for Philly but anyone playing Dallas... I'm just happy that Dallas lost. Sorry Dallas fans but it is what it is...

I can't stand Dallas. I don't think many people outside of Texas like Dallas at all. Buy after seeing a classless Eagle represent the classless city of Philadelphia by spitting on Dak, I was rooting for the Cowboys last night. That said they can go ahead and lose the next 16 games and I wouldn't care.
I'm so happy football is back. Bear down!!

I am pretty sure that dude that spat fell in the draft because of character concerns. I hope they make an example of him in terms of a suspension. If that happened over here in the UK with soccer, I would imagine the suspension would be between about 3 and 6 games maybe. I'm figuring he might not even be suspended, or maybe one game.

I wonder why in the world he just didn't walk up to Dak Prescott call him a cuss word, push him and take the 15 yard penalty like any normal angry player

Remember Jalen Carter was the Georgia player involved in street racing after Georgia won the National Championship. A UGA staffer and football player were killed in the street racing crash. Jalen Carter is a P.O.S.

I'm an Eagles fan but Jalen Carter's spitting was just not pro behavior. He's done stupid stuff like that before, more of the pushing, throwing them down way too or punching players. I hope he gets his act together after a suspension & fine. It took N'damukin Suh a long time to quit being quite such an aggressive idiot.

That bad start 6 seconds into the game start had us worried the rest of the game. The storm delay didn't help either. We didn't look like Super Bowl winners, but I always enjoy watching Dallas lose...to any team.

Fishmanic, thanks for the youtube link for tonight's game. I took me a few tries to get it, I'm techno lame. While I think KC is a very good team, I'm rooting for the Chargers. Just a small lead at halftime isn't going to be enough, KC brings it in the 2nd half.

Mahomes runs it in for a touchtown. Typical Mahomes red zone move. But point after is no good . 13 to 12 Chargers. Mahomes has 141 passing yards and 52 rushing yards.
