Newbie With New Fish Tank Setup ( Roma 200 With Pics )

iv been booked off work by the Dr so it look's like iv got a bit of time on my hands to play with the tank! going to make my breading cave out of slate + PVC pipe and then ill do a water test i can't really do much els! just wait for it to cycle!!

What are you planning on stocking it with ?
Reckon you could get away with a few more larger plants just to provide a bit more cover imo

had mini rescape! moved some plants around and added a slate cave + a bit of pvc guttering for my pecos when i get them!

thanks mate yea im happy with how it looks and new would cichlids rainbow's and anything that go's well with that sort of fish.

just got some used media in there now thank you very much to Mr toshapetriji could only use half of them as they are twice the size of the ones i have in there but squeezed as much as i could in then squeezed my filter foam in the water to soak some of it up so hopefully i should be cycled soon!

Where do you get the rock and slate from?

All my LFS have are small rock/slate/ornaments suitable for small tanks not a 4ft one!

lol my boyfriend is too helps alot with "borrowing" stuff for my aquarium plus his work mates have tanks or had them so that helps too i have too many rocks now haha
