hi i waswondering about what would be the minimum tank size for a aro? would a 4x2x2 be good enough for it?

In a word, no.

Asian and jardini aros usually want a minimum of 6x2x2, but larger is definitely bigger.

Silvers are really looking at something like CFC's tank once grown (8x6x2.5)
