Newbie Stocking Question.....

Hi I have been keeping marines for a while now but I lost my intrest a while ago (and my money ) so im now looking to do a FW im looking into a juwel korall 60 54L tank now this is where im lost. I have never really researched a FW tank before but I know lots about marine would this plan be an acceptable stock for this tank I am also planning it to be a Low tech planted tank with a few Amazon swords, anubias ect ect
Stocking plan:
6-8 Smaller tetras
6-8 Smaller cories probably panda
Possibly a BN Pleco

That looks ok to me but I'm not sure what plecs are like with corys some 1 with experience with them will know more

i would say about 100 litres would do you fine... for filtration (i use an elite jetflo 100 and interpet PF1 in my 95 ltr to great effect) maybe a fluval U2/3 I would go with 2 filters so you have a backup plan incase one goes wrong... Because of my sucsess with them I would suggest Elite jetflo100 and PF1 but with the pleco you may want to look into a jetflo 150 and a PF2

heater... elite 150 Watt

Plecs are generally fine with cories, but I think a 54l is too small for a BN; they're a very bulky little fish. I'd stick with just the cories and the tetras in a tank of that size.

Okay ill leave the pleco out and will a school of cories and tetras be okay on the stocking?

A school of cories and one of tetras would be very nice. Or you could go Asian, and have chain loach and microrasboras...

It would make a very nice little tank IMHO. Chain loach and chili rasboras with sand, bogwood with some anubias on it and lots of mosses.
A few freshwater shrimps would go lovely in there as well.

a mossy triangle scape wouldn't look to bad i don't think
