Fish Fanatic
hi all -
I'm writing from NW England...
We recently set up a tank (I had tropicals years ago but am just getting back into this) - had everything up & running for a week, water tested and finally bought plants and a few fish (guppies, swordtails and rosy tetras).
The plants were in bunches bound together with lead/strips of sponge. Some have decent roots, and I've unbound them and pushed them into the gravel (we have natural pea gravel). However, some are just cuttings without any roots whatsoever. Should I take off the lead/sponge bindings, or just plant them with the bindings on? I think that if I unbind them there's no way they're going to stay in the gravel - they'll just float.
thanks!!
