Hi everyone new to this forum and have kept tropical fish for years with no problem, however past few weeks fish are dying thriving one day dead the next 2 clown loaches dead in 2 days perfectly healthy Siamese fighter on his way out orange tetras too - just floating around upside down resting in the trees even resting on the thermometer - it's heartbreaking we haven't changed anything that we do water fine and tested - we did take out a volcano feature on Thursday to find what can only be described as loads of balls of fluff inside? ?? The filter has pretty much sucked it out now any ideas?? Is it just one of those things or is something seriously wrong??

Hello,

Could you give some more information about your tank? Like:
What size tank, what temperature, current stocking, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH

Thanks!

How big is the tank?
Is it cycled
How often do you change water
Is there a heater in the tank. Whats the water temp.
What chemicals do you use
What are your water parameters?
Nitrite
Nitrate
Ammonia
Is your water soft or hard?

Unless you have a 100 gallon 6 foot tank its too small for Clown loaches, Clowns are not the easiest to keep because they require pristeen water.
