Im very interested in this the picture of the two designs in the top right I like the very top one,
with the closing lid to stop light leaking into the room,
but the measurements seem like they wont fit my tank,
3ft long / 1ft wide
or I do like the look of this

problem is the tank is higher than my bed and I expect that to blind me if I look at the tank, due to light leaking
,
I did consider having a T5 fitted onto my current hood but that would take my tank to 3.6 on all the ones I have found,
and I dont believe I could fir a two 25w tubes onto a 40w T5 control unit,
and the 40w T8 tubes are to long,
any help appreciated
I have am Eheim 2236 so I have problems with lids and my current one I had to Hack holes into it to allow the tubes to fit into the tank,
