Now that is a nice toy, but ouch on the price, think I will just stick to the API Master (though thinking of switching to Salifert when my current one runs out)

ok done two tests tonight, one at 8:20 and one at 9:40 after water change..

Ammonia <0.25 - its lighter than 0.25 but darker than 0

9:40 after 50% water change.

Now what concerns me is I have added another 10ml of the tap safe stuff I have and its not dropping the chlorean and the fish are spending more time towards the top of the tank "gasping" for air - we have a air pump with a wheel but I dont know what to do.

Hi, The fish are still gasping at the top, we are still showing traces of chlorine despite repeatedly adding tapsafe.

I am doing 50% water changes daily and adding 10ml of intrepid? tap safe a day - which should be enough for 45 litres and is still not doing anything to reduce the levels...

the amonia is showing below 0.25 but above 0 - with everything else stable and the fish are still spending time gasping at the top, I have turned up the airstone in case it is lack of oxygen but I admit I am concerned, I have a API master test kit coming tomorrow (I got it on a next day) but I wont be able to test until I am back from work around 7pm.. I am also the leading bidder on a bigger tank and hope I win this as I can collect it on thursday..

What can I do?
