New Wrigglers

100+ Braziliensis in one tank hhhhmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder if the sea life centre has a spare tank I could use

just dump all the fry in one tank then offload them to pet shops for free later on.

You should start sending fish star! not that im inclined to go down that route again after that bloke stole my money and sent me some dead fish with no water lol!!!

I know hundreds of fish get posted every day and lots do make it alive, it really worries me posting fish, especially by the cheapest method possible (ie Royal Mail). I have actually been looking at some same day couriers, costly but cheaper than fetching them yourselves. I would be devistated if I posed fish and they died in transit, I but a lot of time and effort into all my fish and I get too attached to all of them.

The eggs are now starting to move, none of the other fish in the tank are taking a blind bit of notice :hyper: the Pair are so calm they come and feed and just leave the eggs alone. Non of the other fish have been nipped I am just really shocked!

Mass of wrigglers this morning, I think mum has noticed I have been paying too much attention waiting to remove them and she has hidden them all inbetween 2 rocks, the other fish still are paying no attention what so every, I am sure there will be a feast sooner or later. The rotkeils spawned again last night too also the angels.

How about dump the Convict fry? and replace with the Geo fry?

Why when the convicts are selling for 50p each (sold 30 within a week of them going on sale at 1cm) and the Braziliensis I will have to give away for free???

Love reading your threads,I so wish I had room for more tanks so I could have more of your fishes. The ellioti are doing well, calmed down abit now all five staying together. The male has lost his corner to the female Bol Ram. I think I'd go into a mad panic with all the eggs and fry you have. LOL Oh yes how's the non-smoking going on.

Because Geos are worth a lot more than Cons, and you wont be able to sell them at 50p each for very long because they are more simple to breed and common than guppys :p

Glad you like the Ellioti, they are fun. the smoking!!! just call me a chimney with all these fish lol.

The trouble with offering postage is most people want the cheapest possible price for postage, which is Royal mail and I will not send fish royal mail, if people want my fish they would have to organise a propper fish courier which alot will not pay for as it makes the fish too expensive.

???????

Wigglers still there!! cant believe this first time spawn tank full of other fish and there is a patch of wrigglers about the size of a 50p!!!

I got mine from a good friend.

This morning all the wrigglers have gone from the rock, problem over so I thought till I saw the female in the corner of the tank and noticed a big pit has been dug in the gravel behind another rock, I suspect she has moved them to a safer place, but as there is a big airstone in the way I cannot see, if they are there they are really well hidden.

They are back!! Mr & Mrs Brazilliensis (gotto get them a name) still have their fry, although (thankfully not the big ball that was there the other day) they were bringing them all back to the spawning site this morning when I fed them. Once they had eaten they hid them all again, I tried counting the wriggling mass got to around 70 :hyper: Considering they are youngsters they are doing fantastic, I am so happy with them. They are doing better than the Rotties who also have a new batch of wrigglers, doubt they will last the day though.
